Late last week, Elroy Air soared to new heights with an electrifying untethered test flight of the Chaparral C1 aircraft!
This groundbreaking milestone saw the first-of-kind hybrid electric VTOL in operation, utilizing an array of allocortech products including 9 Clios, 2 Lohners, and 1 Comet Vehicle unit being closely monitored by 3 Comet Operator units. Elroy Air’s flight software and GNC stack ran on the Clios atop the allocortech SDK.
